Making Waves with Wireless:
opportunities, risks and challenges in the spectrum space

This UK Chapter event will touch on one of the most talked about topics in today’s communications world: the rise of wireless and related spectrum debates. As the ‘digital dividend’ proved one of the more contentious parts of the negotiations over the review of the EU Telecoms Framework in Britain, Digital Britain is suggesting the development of a ‘mobile broadband plan’, and a debate rages in the UK over whether wireless technologies are the key to ‘broadband-enabling’ the digitally-excluded and rural and remote communities. Olswang’s Colin Long will moderate the debate and tease out the issues that make spectrum a buzzword again today.
