Executive Director, Dominican Institute of Communications (INDOTEL)
Prior to serving as the Executive Director of Indotel in August 2016, Katrina Naut was Director General of the Foreign Trade and International Trade Management Administration (DICOEX) of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of the Dominican Republic from 2006 to 2012.
She has been a panelist and lecturer in Africa, Central America, the Caribbean, Europe, Asia and the United States, invited by international organisations such as the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), the International Center for the Settlement of Disputes And the Georgetown University, the Spanish Arbitration Center and University of Comillas in Madrid, the Pontifical Catholic University Mother and Teacher (PUCMM), the Human Development and Security Institute of Ewha's Womans University, Ajou University of South Korea, business associations in the Dominican Republic and abroad, among others, in telecommunications, foreign trade, investor-state dispute resolution, and matters relating to the World Trade.
Ms Naut holds a PhD in Law from the Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE), Dominican Republic, with a Master's Degree in International Trade from Ajou University, South Korea in the framework of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Scholarship Program and a Master's in Economics, with Specialisation in International Economics and International Trade of the Pontifical Catholic University Mother and Teacher (PUCMM) and Paris I University Pantheon-Sorbonne, France. In addition, she has a third master's degree in Public Management from the Global Institute of Higher Studies in Social Sciences (IGLOBAL) and the José Ortega Gasset - Gregorio Marañón Foundation, Spain.
