Director, Asia Pacific MSME Trade Coalition (AMTC), Singapore
Annie Fong is the Director of the Asia Pacific MSME Trade Coalition (AMTC) in Singapore. The AMTC represents the voice of over 300 micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) from diverse industries across 17 economies. As the largest voice of MSMEs in the Asia Pacific, the AMTC is committed to facilitating the trade of goods and services by MSMEs in the region, as well as serving as a bridge between government officials and business.
Ms Fong has a deep understanding on the challenges of MSMEs through her varied career ranging from import/distribution and retail, as an investor along with a leadership role in a mobile platform start-up, and through supporting MSMEs in a co-working community.
Ms Fong is orginally from Hong Kong, raised in New York City and has called Washington DC, Sydney, Hong Kong, and Singapore home. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from The University of Phoenix.
Outside of her passion for small business, Ms Fong is passionate about shaping the future of her community. She is a volunteer and troop leader in the USA Girls Scouts Overseas (Singapore), a leadership program for young minds.
