Partner, Holding Redlich
Angela Flannery is a partner in Holding Redlich’s Corporate and Commercial group, with over 20 years’ experience as both a partner in private practice and in senior Australian Commonwealth Government roles.
Ms Flannery has broad commercial law expertise, with a particular focus on telecommunications, media and technology (TMT), acting for clients in transactional and regulatory matters, including in acquisitions, licensing arrangements, telecommunications services and broader ICT (including cloud services) contractual arrangements, regulatory reviews and compliance advice and cybersecurity and privacy audits and reviews.
Ms Flannery has extensive knowledge of the regulatory framework governing the communications sector in Australia, including relating to telecommunications infrastructure, spectrum regulation, consumer regulation (including privacy) and the changing regulation in the media and content areas.
Ms Flannery is currently the Asia Pacific Regional Forum Liaison Officer and Website Officer of the Communications Law Committee, International Bar Association, a member of the Law Council of Australia’s Media and Communications Committee and a member of the Numbering Steering Group, Communications Alliance.
