Jacquelynn (Jackie) Ruff is Vice President for International Government Relations and Policy at Verizon Communications.
Ms Ruff leads a group in the Public Policy, Law, and Security organisation that provides advocacy and policy support around a wide range of digital economy issues. She oversees engagement with the International Telecommunication Union, the OECD, APEC, and the Internet Governance Forum. She is a member of a trade advisory committee to the Department of Commerce and the US Trade Representative and serves on the Board of the US Telecommunications Training Institute.
Ms Ruff joined Verizon in 2004 from the International Bureau of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), where she was Associate Chief and Chief of Staff for the Bureau. Previously she practiced with the communications and Latin America groups of an international law firm and served on the staff of a United States Senate Committee.
