Deputy Minister of Communications, Republic of South Africa
Ms Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams, the Deputy Minister of Communications of the Republic of South Africa, was first appointed in October 2011, and re-appointed on 26 May 2014. She is a member of the ANC Eastern Cape Provincial Executive Committee (PEC); Member of the ANC Eastern Cape Provincial Working Committee (PWC) and a member of King Jonguhlanga branch.
Ms Ndabeni-Abrahams was previously a Project Manager: Eastern Cape Socio Economic Consultative Council (ECSECC). She was a member of the ANC Youth League National Executive Committee (ANCYL NEC); a member of the ANC Youth League National Working Committee (ANCYL NWC); and a member of Sakhela Rhoza Branch Executive Council (BEC). She was involved in the Community Activities such as HIV/AIDS, women and youth empowerment programmes. She was the Whip: Parliamentary Portfolio Committee on Defence and Whip: Joint Standing Committee on Intelligence in Parliament and also served as Whip, Parliamentary Portfolio Committee on Communications.
Ms Ndabeni-Abrahams is currently studying a Masters in Business Management Administration (MBA), Regent Business School. She hold a Certificate in Telecommunications, Policy and Regulation Management from Wits University. She has obtained a Commonwealth Telecommunications Organisation Diploma in Telecommunications and Management Systems and holds an Advanced Certificate in Project Management from Rhodes University. She has a Project Management Diploma from Cranefields College.
