Daniel Manfredo (Dr)
Territory Manager for Central America and Caribbean Countries, Intel
Daniel Manfredo is business director at Intel for Guatemala, Nicaragua, Honduras, Dominican Republic and Caribbean region, which are part of the emerging markets of E-LAR. In this role, he supports governments in digital inclusion initiatives using Intel platforms and new design solutions, and ecosystem models, mainly in the emerging markets of these countries.
Before this, Dr Manfredo worked within education development in Mexico, using technology in the classroom, as well as being sales manager for educational and public sector solutions in Latin America. He worked as Intel World Ahead programme manager for Latin America and, in April 2005, when he joined the company, he served as finance manager for the Southern Cone (Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Bolivia and Paraguay).
On the commercial side, he worked with Ministry of Education of Argentina (2008 – 2009), closing the first order of 250 thousand units, which later resulted in the Conectar Igualdad programme, responsible for delivering more than 5 Million Units
Prior to joining Intel, he worked as finance manager at Lucent Technologies and as an auditor at Deloitte Touche.
Dr Manfredo holds a degree in Accounting from the University of Buenos Aires and has won many prestigious awards for his achievements in, for example, successful governmental programmes, the reduction of the digital divide in the countries and the attainment of higher educational levels achieved through the use of technology in schools..
