TIME FOR IMPLEMENTATION

Members automatically receive InterMedia, the IIC's quarterly journal. It reviews key developments in telecommunications and media policy, regulatory affairs, emergent ICT trends and, especially, the impact of the internet across the entire ecosystem. InterMedia is a rich resource of articles, reports and interviews and the contents reflect the IIC's on-going discussion themes.

A significant additional element of digital disruption, whether in the media and communications world or the 'real' world of things and the transactions of daily life, is that it does not stand still. The internet is no longer just 'the change', it is itself a dynamic arena of change. As well as disrupting established 'offline' business, it increasingly 'eats its own'. Think about how quickly Facebook decimated the previously dominant internet mail and messenger products and now it has moved increasingly into television and newspaper territory, to become the go-to platform to obtain, share and discuss news and current affairs for many.
