On October 5, media practitioners, regulators, industry and educators came together to grapple with the complex issues raised by the increasing ubiquity of the Internet and social media platforms.

The Communications Literacy Seminar, entitled Challenges of Communications Literacy: Discernment and Conduct in a Digital World, opened with a keynote by Professor Tan Cheng Han, Chairman of Singapore’s newly-established Media Literacy Council and Professor of Law at NUS Law School.
