Two spectrum books

There are two new books on spectrum that should appeal to policymakers and regulators. Out now is ‘Understanding Spectrum Liberalisation’, by Martin Sims, Toby Youell and Richard Womersley, which “identifies the successes and failures of the main policy initiatives of the past decade. It explains, in layman’s terms, the technical and policy background needed to understand these debates.” Then next month sees the publication of ‘Spectrum Management: Using the airwaves for maximum social and economic benefit’, by Martin Cave and William Webb, described as a “definitive guide to radio spectrum management”.
