Telecommunications & Media Forum (TMF), Telecoms, Media & Regulatory Forum (TMRF)

The IIC is delighted to be hosted by the Communications Regulatory Commission of Mongolia to hold a Telecommunications and Media Forum in Ulaanbaatar

The forum will be addressed by experts from industry, civil society and academia, as well as regulators and government departments. Further details including speakers will follow soon. The following topics will be covered:

  • The importance of ICT infrastructure deployment for socio-economic development – closing the digital divide
  • Regulatory & policy frameworks to boost digitalization, adoption and applications
  • Enabling safe and secure data flow for economic growth
  • Content issues and digital platforms – competition, interoperability and responsibility
  • Building institutional capacity and human capital: How can a regulator build capacity that is fit for purpose in a rapidly-moving environment?
