Chen-Ling Hung (Dr)

Chen-Ling Hung has been serving as a Commissioner since August 2016 and has contributed significantly to communication law and citizen journalism for a long time. More recently, her work has encompassed areas such as political economy of communication in Taiwan. Besides her current position at NCC, Dr Hung is also a professor of the graduate institute of Journalism in National Taiwan University.
Dr Hung’s primary areas of research include, digital divide, globalisation and communication, and information society. She received a Bachelor of law degree in National Taiwan University, Master’s degree in Journalism in National Chengchi University and PhD of Mass Communications at Pennsylvania State University.
