by Masooma Khawari, the first female and now former Minister of Communications and Information
Technology, Afghanistan, one year after her appointment to the Ministry of Communications and
Information Technology (MCIT) in a tweet stating that “Today the Taliban announced to the employees of
the Ministry for Communications to com back to work. But taliban did not allowed for female employees @
GirlsInICT”.
