Francesca Pasquali is full Professor of media studies at the Department of Letters, Philosophy, Communication at the University of Bergamo. She is the coordinator of the MA program in Information, Communication, Publishing.
Her scientific interests are in the field of sociology of communication and culture, with a particular focus on: 1) The relations between digital platforms and legacy media; 2) Digital platforms and the mediatization of everyday life; 3) Digital communication and media participation.
In the past, Professor Pasquali has focused her research on these macro-areas of interest: media and generation, imagery and media, media audiences and ICTs users, social reading and e-books, and theories of authorship.
