Nithi Mahanonda (MD, Professor)

Secretary General, Chulabhorn Royal Academy

Professor Nithi Mahanonda is Secretary General of Chulabhorn Royal Academy, and Director of Chulabhorn Hospital. He obtained Doctor of Medicine from Faculty of Medicine, Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University. Besides his medical career, Professor Mahanonda publishes several books and articles on cardiology and engages in media to raise public awareness on health and society. He also leads public projects on public health, improving access to medicines, and medical access for disadvantaged groups. Professor Mahanonda’s recent project gives elderly people access to Alzheimer diagnosing service and raise public awareness about roles of family in treatment.
