Revised draft online gambling ad rules released for comment
The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) has released a revised draft of proposed restrictions on gambling advertisements during live sport.
Under the revised rules, gambling advertisements would be banned during any live sport event that is streamed between 5am and 8:30pm, and restricted at other times. There have been similar rules in place on broadcasting platforms since 30 March 2018.
Submissions on the revised draft are being accepted until 26 July 2018.
