What is the role of the regulator in regulating market power of digital platforms? Our members address the challenges facing policy makers and regulators discussing questions such as: ‘how can regulation of digital markets help to promote competition and innovation?’ and  ‘should categories of broadcasting content on free to air television such as news and current affairs or local language content be sheltered, by whom and with what?’ Competition investigations into alleged abuse of dominance are rife all over the world. Vertical as well as horizontal competition challenges abound, including those created by increasing consolidation. We regularly include speakers from specialist legal advisors in this field who have a wealth of sector and geographical experience to share with participants.
