Shinto Nugroho - International Institute of Communications

Shinto Nugroho is the Chief of Public Policy and Government Relations at Gojek, Southeast Asia’s leading on-demand multi-service platform that was founded in Indonesia. Ms Nugroho leads all of Gojek’s work related to policy and engagements with governments. Ms Nugroho has over 15 years of experience as a lawyer and public policy specialist. Prior to Gojek, she was at Google Indonesia, focusing on public policy issues. Before joining Google, Ms Nugroho was the Special Assistant of the Trade Minister of Indonesia.

Ms Nugroho obtained her law degree through the University of Indonesia and Master Degrees from Columbia Law School and the London School of Economics and Political Science. She was chosen as one of the female leaders to represent Indonesia in the New Asia Summit in New Delhi in 2013 and was listed as one of Asia 21’s Young Leaders in 2012.
