EuropeThe Digital Single Market is a key topic for discussion at IIC meetings. We hold at least one global event per year in Europe and numerous local chapter meetings that are free for members.
Asia PacificThis is an area of rapid technological development where the IIC has four active chapters running events and producing reports on trends and challenges in the region.
AmericasThere are two active IIC chapters in North America where the IIC has looked at issues such as innovation, investment incentives and internet governance as well as policy and regulatory decision making in the emerging and developed American markets.

IIC members analyse emerging models of platform accountability, content moderation, media plurality, and audience protection. 
Digital Competition and Market DynamicsDigital platforms and operators continue to reshape markets, creating new forms of dominance, network effects, competition issues and competitive pressure across sectors. IIC members focus on regulatory tools to address market power, ensure contestability, and support innovation.
Next-Generation Connectivity and Spectrum ManagementIIC members evaluate spectrum allocation models, spectrum valuation, shared use regimes, licensing and monitoring innovations, and the role of governments in delivering universal access.
Sustainable Investment and Digital Infrastructure DevelopmentIIC members examine investment incentives for sustainable infrastructures and equipment models, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) -aligned infrastructure planning, multi-stakeholder governance structures, and regulatory conditions that foster innovation while protecting consumers.
Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technologies: Governance, Accountability and Ethical InnovationIIC members examine the regulatory, ethical and societal implications of these technologies, focusing on transparent and accountable AI systems, safety-by- design, responsible data use, algorithmic oversight, cross-border governance, and methods to mitigate risks such as bias, misinformation, manipulation, and systemic harm.
