The Telecommunications Authority of Trinidad and Tobago (TATT) regulates telecommunications and broadcasting in the Republic. During the COVID-19 pandemic TATT has:

  • Promoted the online services which it can offer to businesses and consumers while its physical offices are closed, including consumer complaints and licence applications.
  • Extending the forebearance on the take-down of various US television networks, including ABC and CBS until 31 July 2020.
  • Announcing that there is no scientific evidence that 5G technology is linked to COVID-19.

More on TATT’s efforts during the pandemic will be coming soon.
