The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) is responsible for regulating the telecommunications sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain. During the COVID-19 pandemic it has:

  • Overseen the sector’s implementation of the country’s health guidelines, to ensure the safety of customers in retail locations.
  • Promoted messaging stating that it supports the Kingdom’s efforts to combat the virus.
