Discovery Communications has been working in conjunction with Save the Children and No Kid Hungry to drive donations and provide food site locations for families in need. It will match consumer and employee donations.

The partnership with No Kid Hungry will see funds raised in the United States going to provide emergency grants to food banks and other community groups that help feed families during the COVID-19 pandemic. Discovery is also working with state and local governments to publicise where families can access those resources.

Internationally, its partmership with Save The Children’s RISE initiative will drive donations to their Emergency Fund for Coronavirus that is globally providing nutrition, education, and healthcare to vulnerable families.
