Brazilian telecoms operator Telebras will be privatised, following a statement sent to the Securities and Exchange Commission of Brazil, reports Telegeography. Guidelines have been drawn up by the Interministerial Council of the Partnership and Investment Programme. A public bank, to be selected by the Ministry of Economy, will oversee the process, reports the news site. Read more
