Digital payments do not amount to market manipulation
The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has dismissed a complaint of unfair business practices against WhatsApp, reports the Economic Times. The claims concerned the platform’s digital payment services, alleging that it abused its dominance in internet messaging to manipulate the market for digital payment apps.
