Microsoft says attacks have been ‘unsuccessful’
A Russian intelligence group blamed for hacking the Democratic National Committee in 2016 have been actively attempting to hack both parties since September 2019, reports the Financial Times. The disclosure comes from Microsoft, who claim that although the attacks have become increasingly sophisticated, they have been unsuccessful. The company says that groups operating in China have also targeted the campaign of Joe Biden, while attacks originating in Iran have been aimed at individuals linked to Donald Trump. Read more (£)
