Shaima Alhamed is a results-oriented leader with extensive expertise in applying business transformation, restructuring and growth strategies. She has over seventeen years of experience in ICT and Media-Technologies Management.
Prior to her current role, Shaima held several notable positions including Executive Director and Board Member at Bahrain Internet Exchange, Director of Technology and Broadcasting, and Director of Technical Affairs at Ministry of Information Affairs.
Ms Alhamed holds an MBA from the University of Strathclyde with a focus on strategy building and implementation, and a BSc. in Computer Science from the University of Bahrain. She also carries a Diploma in government leadership from the Bahrain Institute of Public Administration (BIPA).
