Tiernan Kenny is the Head of International Strategy and Engagement at Ofcom, the UK’s regulator for communications services. He oversees Ofcom’s engagement with counterpart regulators, governments, international organisations and other groups.
Before joining Ofcom, Mr Kenny spent several years working on technology and digital policy issues in both Brussels and London, including privacy and data protection, cybersecurity, intellectual property, media policy and platform regulation. He has spent time working in the non-profit sector, focusing on accessible technology standards. He also worked for the UK’s largest business association on Brexit-related issues.
