Sascha Devigne is editor-in-chief of STUDIO 47 in Duisburg, one of the largest private regional television stations in Germany. After studying English and German at Gerhard Mercator University and Indiana University of Pennsylvania, he worked as a freelance journalist for print and radio media. Devigne is an alumni of the London School of Journalism and the Academy for Journalism in Hamburg.
Mr Devigne worked for the editorial office of Rheinische Post in Düsseldorf and completed an editorial traineeship at Deutscher Ärzte Verlag in Cologne. He later worked here as editor for management and health policy. Mr Devigne is juror for the Citizens’ Media Award by the State of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) and curates the Online Academy for Local TV Journalism.
He is a member of the Media Specialist Advisory Board NRW and the Communications Advisory Board of the IST University of Management. In 2013 he was awarded the German Regional Television Prize.
