With over 25 years of global leadership experience across the digital and technology space, Kiran has consistently built and scaled transformative platforms. Prior to JioStar (following his tenure at Viacom18), he served as General Manager for Google’s Android and Play Ecosystems across Asia Pacific and Japan, spearheading innovation, consumer adoption, and business growth across multiple markets. His career spans strategic leadership roles at Google and Microsoft, as well as founding and scaling a technology startup.
A Chartered Financial Analyst and qualified accountant with an MBA, Kiran combines analytical depth with future-focused vision. His leadership mantra—“Life is beautiful”—underscores his belief in harnessing technology not just for progress, but for impact. At JioStar, he is overseeing the digital blueprint to democratize access, taking premium content and digital experiences to the last mile, and opening up infinite possibilities for consumers, brands, and creators across the country.
