Anita Kumar has close to 17 years of experience as an integrated communication and public affairs professional. At Cisco, Anita engages closely with central and state governments on policy and strategic partnerships across emerging technology, cybersecurity and other social projects. Anita is also closely engaged with Cisco India’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives and brings her expertise on leveraging government platforms.

Anita has worked with leading integrated communications consultancies like Genesis BCW and Edelman. During her decade long experience as consultant, Anita advised several domestic and multinational companies across different sectors like energy, healthcare technology, steel & mining, etc. Anita was also seconded in government agencies like Energy Efficiency Services Limited, where she was responsible for strategizing and implementation of integrated communications for the adoption of energy demand side management programs, like the LED bulbs at home and streets program.

Anita is a Master’s in Business Law from National Law University of India, Bengaluru and holds a Post-Graduate diploma in Communications from Jamia Milia Islamia University, Delhi.
