Esteban Greco is Director of GAMES Economics (Global Analysis of Market Economics and Strategies) in Argentina and an international consultant in competition and regulatory economics. He is editor of the Latin America Column at Competition Policy International (CPI).
He has been the Chairman of the Comisión Nacional de Defensa de la Competencia (CNDC) in Argentina. As a consultant he has advised public and private organizations in Latin America on competition policy, economic regulation and energy economics for almost two decades. He was also a Commissioner and Chief Economist at CNDC and Deputy Manager of Performance and Economics at Argentina’s Natural Gas regulatory agency (ENARGAS).
He is a professor at the University of Buenos Aires, University Torcuato Di Tella, Lead University (Costa Rica), with many publications on competition and regulation in Latin America. He earned his M.A. in Economics from Regional Postgraduate Program in Research Analysis of Public Policies from Torcuato Di Tella Institute and Inter-American Development Bank and his Degree in Economics from the University of Buenos Aires.
