Radu Mihaiu is a politician and former IT entrepreneur, known for his integrity, modernization efforts, and transparent governance. He served as State Secretary for digitalization (2016), and between 2020–2024 was the mayor of District 2, where he led over 1,100 projects—ranging from infrastructure and education to urban regeneration and digital services. He is recognized for taking on entrenched interests and leading with data, technology, and public consultation.

Currently, he is a USR MP active in the committees on public administration and digital affairs. He is married, a father of two daughters, and passionate about tech, cooking, sports, and movies.
