Natasha Beschorner, a Senior ICT Policy Specialist with the World Bank’s Transport and & ICT Global Practice, has been with the World Bank since 1993 and is currently based in Singapore. She works on several areas of ICT-enabled development. These include e-government; health information systems; and telecommunications sector reform, particularly extending the reach of information and communications infrastructure to rural and remote areas. Her main responsibilities include design and management of investment projects and technical assistance programmes on telecommunications reform, connectivity (including submarine cable systems) and ICT for development in East Asia and the Pacific. She works primarily on programmes in China, Indonesia, the Philippines, and the Pacific Islands.
