The Commission for Communications Regulation (ComReg) is responsible for regulating the electronic communications sector (telecommunications, radio communications, broadcasting transmission and premium rate services) and the postal sector in Ireland.

To help consumers during the COVID-19 pandemic, ComReg has:

  • Updated consumers on how they can contact ComReg while its offices are closed.
  • Provided information for Pay As You Go mobile customers on how they can top up their mobile credit without having to leave home.

Information on what ComReg is doing to help can be found here.
