The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) regulates telecommunications and broadcasting in Thailand. During the COVID-19 pandemic it has:
Warned that criminals are taking advantage of the situation and falsely positioning themselves as representatives who can apply for special funding on behalf of hospitals, when the NBTC’s Research and Development fund does not require this.
Made adjustments to the procedures for the payment of fees and licensing services for the duration of the pandemic.
