The Regulatory Authority of Bermuda (RA)has responsibility for the country’s electronic communications and electricity sectors. During the COVID-19 pandemic the RA has:

  • Notified service providers that they may not make changes to tariffs, disconnect services or charge certain penalty fees during the pandemic, due to the economic uncertainty it has brought. It has issued an Emergency General Determination to ensure that critical services can be maintained.
