Denmark the ‘first Nordic country to have 5G service across the country’

Danish operator TDC said that 5G service was available across the whole country now that 3,800 masts had been upgraded, reports rcwireless.com. The company points out that Danes’ consumption of mobile data grows by 35-40 per cent per year, and that, along with rolling out 5G, it has increased the speed of its 4G network by nearly 50 per cent. Denmark completed the auction of spectrum in the 700 MHz, 900 MHz and 2.3 GHz bands in April 2019. The regulator also expects to award spectrum in the 3.5 GHz and 26 GHz bands for 5G later this year.
