40th Anniversary of data protection Convention 108
Data Protection Day will be held on 28 January 2021 marking the 40th Anniversary of the Council of Europe data protection Convention 108. To celebrate Convention 108’s anniversary with its African stakeholders, the Council of Europe is hosting a 90 minute African virtual regional seminar on day, with the support of the Center for Human Rights of the University of Pretoria.
The programme is available at Data Protection Day 2021 in Africa (coe.int). It will involve five data protection Commissioners and academic discussants of the Region.
