If this is first time you have visited the IIC, welcome. If you are returning to the IIC’s website, you will see that we’ve had a complete refresh of our look, layout and architecture. The reason is simple.

The IIC exists to enable a balanced open dialogue around policy and regulation for the converging communications sector. We have designed the new website to provide faster access to insights, more scope to exchange views and greater opportunity to have a voice in the regulatory debate.

We know that members need and value the opportunity to contribute to the policy agenda. But more importantly, it’s about being heard by the people and organisations that matter in an environment of intimacy and mutual respect.

No other international organisation provides a forum in which policy makers, innovators, regulators and wider societal stakeholders can explore, debate and agree the best policies and regulatory frameworks for the widest societal benefit.

Insight: Exchange: Influence

We provide members and stakeholders with –

Insight:

The IIC relentlessly seeks the ideas and opinions of the world’s best policy thinkers from the converging digital ecosystem.

The new website makes publications, reports and opinion pieces easier to find by theme, by region or by date.

Exchange:

The IIC brings together leading figures from regulatory bodies, industry and academia to share experiences and good practice.

The new website will make it easier to find and register for events in your local chapter or see what’s taking place around the world.

Influence:

IIC members enjoy a unique opportunity to stimulate and contribute to the debate on the central policy issues of today and in the future.

Our new website will provide better access to information, more opportunity to exchange views and provide a platform from which all parts of the digital ecosystem can have a voice in the regulatory debate:

  • A voice for global, local or specialist industry players from across the digital economy
  • A voice for national regulators to seek affirmation from peers and share new ideas
  • A voice for smaller nations who share common issues in media and communications regulation
  • A voice for future leaders – encouraging contributions and opinions from the next generation of strategic decision makers and advisors

Our purpose

The IIC exists to enable a balanced open dialogue around policy and regulation for the converging communications sector.

The new website will help us to deliver on this commitment and we look forward to hearing your organisation’s voice in the debate.

The new IIC website enables faster access to insights, more scope to exchange views and is a platform for the regulatory debate in converged communications.
