Satellite CEOs mull HD-TV, downturn

HONOLULU - One satellite industry CEO says the entire industry is "counting pennies", another says his main job is to reassure his staff that they are in no danger of losing theirs. Not far up the telecom food chain, satellite industry CEOs are preparing for a future which almost certainly figures an economic downturn. The questions for these global players are when, how much, and how long? As PTC '09 showed this year, these are important questions that they obviously mull on a nearly continual basis.
