The annual Brussels Telecommunications & Media Forum, kindly sponsored by Frontier Economics and Bird & Bird, in March 2022 was a timely opportunity for policymakers, regulators and industry to discuss key issues in the European context and also to share experiences and best practice with international peers. Implementation of the EECC, the AVMSD, the DMA and the DSA were top of mind, coupled with recovery plans and a raft of new
initiatives associated with Europe’s digital sovereignty objectives and green targets.
Adapting to the demands of the digital environment and considering what policy means in practice was the focus of the IIC’s annual Brussels telecommunications & Media Forum in 2022. Report by CRISTINA MURRONI
