The Telecommunication Regulator of Cambodia (TRC) is an independent and accountable regulator, striving towards a global, competitive, stable, and increasingly self-regulating telecommunications industry, in order to generate economic growth and timely meet the social demands for the development of Cambodia.
The main objectives of the Telecommunication Regulator of Cambodia is to formulate the regulations, relating to the operation and provision of telecommunications network and services, in order to promote fair, efficient, and transparent competition in line with the Royal Government’s policy on the telecommunications sector.
In order to achieve the objectives, the Telecommunication Regulator of Cambodia fosters its activities in the implementation of the relevant laws and regulations as the basic legal instrument.
The Telecommunication Regulator of Cambodia not only functions as a regulator, but also as an arbitrator of disputes between Licensees and Licensees, and between the Licensees and the end users, as well as the protector.
