Global Lead for Digital Policy, LEGO

Adam Ingle is the Global Lead for Digital Policy at the LEGO Group, where he helps LEGO maintain high standards of safety, privacy and security in their digital products and advocates for policy that empowers children online. Previously, Adam led the ICO’s Emerging Technology Unit, where his team assessed the data protection impact of emerging technologies like AI, immersive worlds, blockchain and advised both industry and government on how to mitigate privacy risks. Before moving to the UK, Adam was an Assistant Director within Australia’s Department of Home Affairs. His responsibilities included reforming the investigative powers of Australia’s security and intelligence agencies to adapt to present and emerging communications technology and helping form national approaches to ethical AI, content moderation and social media governance.
