Alejandro Forero

In this role, he promotes the strategic adoption of digital technologies to maximize the impact, efficiency, and innovation of development programs. His work focuses on strengthening infrastructure, productivity, and social inclusion to improve the quality of life across Latin America.

His areas of expertise include software-hardware integration, data processing, and the large-scale implementation of intelligent systems. Alejandro is an Electronic Engineer with a Master’s degree in the same field and is currently a PhD candidate in Engineering. He has extensive experience leading Information Technology (IT) projects from inception to execution, combining deep technical knowledge with strategic leadership.

Previously, he served as a public official at both national and municipal levels in Colombia, and has worked as a university professor and researcher. Throughout his career, he has successfully executed medium and large-scale initiatives that leverage digital transformation as a key enabler for development.
