Alvaro Nadal is a Telecommunications Engineer with an MBA from FIU currently working as the Technical Advisor to the Executive Director of the Dominican Telecommunications Institute (INDOTEL), the government agency that regulates the telecommunications market and its many dimensions. He has been involved in the telecom market for over 25 years, where he has worked as part of the executive distinguished himself in planning and implementation of technical projects in the private sector and as a regulator he has contributed towards planning and dimensioning the digital divide and the creation of public policy to address it. As Technical Advisor for the last 3 years he has coordinated the Digital TV process for the Dominican Republic and given technical input to most public policies within the regulator plus most Digital Agenda projects that touch on ITC and Telecommunication initiatives.
