Andrew Lewis is Head of International Strategy at Ofcom. Having joined Ofcom in 2018, Andrew has spent time working in different parts of Ofcom including the Public Policy Team (focusing consumer protection), the Online Safety Group (focusing on stakeholder engagement), and in the Chief Executive’s Office (advising on broadcasting, media, and digital policy issues).
Prior to Ofcom, Andrew spent five years at Sport England as Head of External Affairs. Before that he was a civil servant in the UK Government’s Department for Culture, Media and Sport, and during this part of his career he took a sabbatical in 2010-2012 to teach at the Ukrainian Catholic University in Lviv, Ukraine, and to study Ukrainian language and culture.
