Armela Krasniqi is Chair of the Audiovisual Media Authority of Albania, elected by the Albanian Parliament in 2021. She teaches journalism and communication at Bachelor and Master level at the Universities of Pristina and Albania. She has extensive experience in media and communication, including as Director General of the Albanian Telegraphic Agency, and has held leadership roles in regional and European media organisations, serving as Vice President of the European Platform of Regulatory Authorities (EPRA) and as President of the Mediterranean Network of Regulatory Authorities (MNRA).
