Artur Coimbra de Oliveira

Commissioner, National Telecommunications Agency (ANATEL), Brazil

Artur Coimbra de Oliveira has been a member of the Federal Prosecutor’s career since 2007, having previously been a Regulation Specialist at Anatel. He served as an advisor in the Specialized Federal Prosecutor’s Office of Anatel and in the Presidency of the Republic. He was Director of Broadband at the Ministry of Communications and Secretary of Telecommunications from 2011 to 2022. Throughout this period, he participated in the formulator group of the National Broadband Program, chaired the Steering Committee of the Geostationary Satellite for Defense and Strategic Communications project and was a member of Anatel’s Advisory Board.

Mr Coimbra de Oliveira holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Law from UnB, with an MBA in Business Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas.
