Beltsazar Krisetya is a researcher in digital politics and internet governance at the Jakarta-based Centre for Strategic and International Studies. He has led major research projects on issues like disinformation, data privacy, and cybersecurity in Indonesia and Southeast Asia.  Mr Krisetya has engaged extensively with policymakers and published widely to shape tech policy and strengthen democratic participation, most recently through the Safer Internet Lab (SAIL) ahead of Indonesia’s 2024 elections. He is also expanding his research to examine emerging powers’ approaches to digital governance and their global implications.
