Assistant Vice-President of External Affairs and Sustainability at AT&T Mexico. In this position, Mr Rios is responsible for building long-term relationships with relevant economic and political stakeholders; as well as with social organisations in order to advocate for social, environmental, regulatory and policy affairs before government authorities, regulatory institutions and other stakeholders.
Before joining AT&T, Mr Rios built a solid career within the Mexican telecommunications regulator (IFT) where he performed as Head of the President’s Advisors team.
He has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Americas University in Puebla. Mr Rios has collaborated on the development of several regulatory and policy studies and has participated on different international forums related to public policy and digital economy.
